Brewer Oval Supervision
This season, the City of Ottawa requires that all volunteers doing supervision shifts have a completed police check. Hence the reason for not having an open spreadsheet for all to fill in. If you have your police check done and can spare a few hours to help with the oval supervision, please send an email to Andrea M at oval@ottpacers.ca |
ICE TIME: Mon/Tue/Wed/Thur evenings in January&February - weather permitting

Follow our Brewer Oval Facebook Group for the latest reports on ice conditions, etc.
The Brewer Skate Park is a City of Ottawa facility; as such it is available to all. Those interested in getting a good workout on their skates, come and enjoy the best maintained large ice surface in the area. Skaters are welcome to use hockey and figure skates, though playing hockey and skating figures are not allowed on the ice in order to protect the ice surface.
parking
When using the oval, please use the parking lot to the west of the arena (you will need to come in off Bronson). Some cars have been parked at the entrance (between the trailer and east of the Brewer Arena) where the tractor/blower/brusher parks as well as where the Zamboni dumps its snow. These cars block the pathway for the tractor that maintains the oval and rinks and risk being ticketed/towed away in future. Please park in the arena parking lot - the short walk can be your warm up!
