This program is designed for individuals who have completed the Beginner program, or who have the necessary speed skating skills acquired through other programs, and are ready to be introduced to intermediate level skills.
Builds on the fundamental skills learned in the Beginner program and introduces the more competitive aspects of speed skating, such as passing and tactics. Skaters will also have the opportunity, if they choose, to participate in Club Mini Meets, as well as sanctioned regional and provincial competitions appropriate to their skill level.
